The More Orders Scorecard™ · Free · Aussie Shopify owners

There’s one thing capping your orders.Let’s find it.

Not ten things. One. And it’s probably not the one you’ve been working on.

Four chapters, about three minutes, mostly tapping. You’ll come out with a score out of 40, your stage, and the one pillar of four that’s capping the other three.

Score my store

Free. No application. Skip nearly every question.

Paul on what this is, what it scores, and what you get back. Watch it or skip straight in. The scorecard works either way.

The same read Paul Warren’s team runs on real Aussie stores every week. Two years, hundreds of Aussie Shopify founders, and a Shopify agency behind it.

01 · The honest problem

You don’t have an effort problem.

You’re flat out. Ads, a product test, a theme tweak, chasing a supplier, an email flow. All in the same week.

Here’s the thing though. A store doesn’t grow evenly. At any point there’s one area doing more damage than the other three put together. Work on the other three and you’ll feel busy as anything and watch nothing move.

This puts the store up on the hoist and tells you which bit’s actually broken. So next month’s work goes in one spot instead of four.

02 · The payoff

What you get at the end

  1. Your score out of 40

One number for the whole store.

  2. Your stage, named

Not a vague band. A stage with a definition, so you know what’s normal at your size and what’s coming next.

  3. All four pillars scored

So you can see the shape of the store instead of just the total.

  4. The one pillar holding the other three back

That’s your constraint. That’s what you work on next.

  5. A plain read on your own numbers

You put in your revenue, your average order, your conversion rate and the number you’re chasing. It tells you what those numbers mean together. Most owners have never had anyone do that for them.

03 · The questions

What the questions are like

Tap to answer. Four chapters. Nothing to type except your business name and store address, and you can skip nearly every question.

Your score sits in the corner and moves as you go, so you can watch it building.

Nobody’s asking for your P&L. When it gets to margin the options are bands, and one of them is “Not Sure”. Half the owners we score tap it. Scorecard still does its job.

Chapter 1 of 4 · Prospects
How long have you been at this?

No wrong answer. Year one hustle and year ten grind get scored differently, that's all.

Skip this question

04 · The awkward ask

Why we ask for your store address

Fair question. Most of these things just hand your own answers back to you. You rate yourself, it adds up your ratings, and you finish up knowing exactly what you already reckoned.

This one wants your business name and your live store address, because the site is what gets scored, not just your opinion of it. Your name goes on the card too. It’s the one screen we ask you not to skip.

Haven’t launched yet? Type “not yet”. It still scores.

05 · No surprises

Straight up: what this costs you

Nothing. There’s no application and nobody decides you’re too small.

Your running score is on screen the whole way. For the full breakdown, your stage, your flagged pillar and your Scorecard Brief, we ask for your first name and email so we can send you a copy to keep. The workshop invite is a tickbox, and it’s up to you whether you tick it.

Mobile’s optional. Leave it and your score comes by text as well, and one of our team may give you a ring about your result. If you’d rather we didn’t, leave it blank and you’ll still get everything else.

And if you leave a note at the end about what’s going on, someone on the team actually reads it. Not an autoresponder.

06 · Who’s asking

Who’s asking

Paul Warren runs two businesses that both live or die on this exact question.

Insiteful is the Shopify agency. It builds and fixes stores for Aussie brands, which is where this read came from in the first place. The team runs it on real stores every week.

eCommerce Circle is the coaching side. Two years, hundreds of Aussie Shopify founders, live calls every weekday.

The More Orders Scorecard™ is the diagnostic underneath both. This is the free version of it, and it sits in the Command Centre, the tool library at ai.ecommercecircle.com.au.

Works at any size. Whether you did $2,000 last month or $200,000, same read.

Right then

Three minutes. Then you’ll know what to fix first.

One of four pillars is capping your orders. Let’s put a name to it.
